I believe many of us as ultimate players have experienced some hamstring tension / pain in the past. Our programs are designed with this in mind and work toward strengthening the hamstrings and promoting the glute to be the primary hip extensor to take some of the strain off of the hamstrings.

Recently Goose made a terrific video about how we worked through his hamstring issues after suffering a slight strain that occurred due to the lack of time to prepare for the competition (rain delay made decrease the time to warm up properly for the game). Check it out, hope it helps!
