    Hey There

This is my first year training specifically for ultimate so I have some questions and some regarding the program design.

I am currently on Phase 3 of program zero for S&P. Right now I am looking at what to start for S&A and Conditioning. Should I do S&A program zero? And for conditioning lots of choices, what do you think the best one would be for where I am at with lifting and to go along with S&A program zero? Do you also recommend doing one long run/week for more endurance stuff, I am doing 3-4 mile runs but want to do one of those per week and start the conditioning. Is that enough you think?

Also once I finish S&P program zero I will move on the program one and that will be during tryouts and beginning of the season. What should I move on to after program one? TRIPHASIC.ONE? Is that a good one during the club season?

I am just a little overwhelmed and lost with all of the program choices and what to choose. Thanks!

Jodien, see my reply to your other post.

    More about peaking

I know it’s a bit confusing with all the choices of programs. We love it that you are asking cause that’s what we are expecting everybody to do 🙂

By the way, I won’t recommended 4-5 mile runs during pre/in-season. That style of conditioning is nothing like Ultimate which has a lot of Sprint/Cut – rest – Sprint/Cut – rest…

Interesting. So not even once a week long run is helpful for endurance? If I just did the two a week conditioning from the shuttle and triangle plan I am doing that is enough? Thanks for the link to the other posts.
