Checkout my serpentine last year. Does it look good? What can be better? What’s a good time to aim for?

That does look good! I like the body angle you are able to achieve at the cones as well as how pronounced the jab steps are.

A good time to strive for is for an elite male = below 9 seconds and Elite Female = Below 10 seconds … These however are ELITE times of very well trained athletes with great movement mechanics and an understanding of the drill and how it should be run.

    For perspective, here is a 8.91 serp…

Note – On this particular testing day it was pre working with Ironside … this was actually a sort of “job interview” for me to show them the good work I could do for them… Misha, an experienced lifter, was the only athlete to run below 9 seconds on this day. After a few years with Ironside we were able to get more athletes below 9 seconds.

Also note Misha is a 455 lbs deadlifter with a very high training age and a background in both formal strength and conditioning and skiing …
