Hi there!

Here is your weekly dose of “6-Notes on Sunday,” a list of ideas, products, episodes, quotes, exercises, and more that we believe are worth sharing.

#BorntoRise Series

Courtney “Coug” Verhaalen from Brute Squad
George Stubbs from Revolver

Do you have a morning routine —
We like this article in the NY Times on what the author learned about morning routines from interviewing 300 successful people from business, sports, music, academia, art, and fashion. Start your day off right with his lessons!

Setting out to finish a marathon under two hours —
Can a human run 26.2 miles in less than two hours, which is an average of 4 mins and 34 seconds per mile? This documentary showcases how Nike built a team to try to break the two-hour barrier.

A just for fun book and an article about lessons on leadership from the book —
2nd Runner-Up for Ultiworld’s 2018 Women’s Club Player of the Year, Liên Hoffmann, told us that her favorite book is Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card and we also think it’s a classic! Here is a cool article with lessons from the book on transformational leadership.

Doesn’t matter the app you use, just meditate —
On the #favoritethings Slack channel, David Conlon shared that he just started using this app for meditation (Waking Up with Sam Harris), which is emerging as one of the best. We can also recommend HeadspaceCalmInsight Timer, and Oak – we’ve used them all.

Time to start your offseason training —
We are opening up sign-up for PEAK+ to take your training to the next level.Registration only open this week (Nov. 4 through Nov. 11) for your offseason training calendar to start on November 12. Here is a video Tim recorded on offseason periodization and how we suggest and program our One & Two level offseason training.

Please give us feedback and offer suggestions by replying to this email or reaching out on Facebook or Instagram.

Wishing you an amazing week!
