Conlon’s Granola

Ingredients:+/- 3 Cups Old Fashioned Oats +/- 3 Cups Steel cut oats ¼ – ½ Cup Brown sugar (depending on how sweet you’d like it…I did in the middle)...

Ingredients:
+/- 3 Cups Old Fashioned Oats
+/- 3 Cups Steel cut oats
¼ – ½ Cup Brown sugar (depending on how sweet you’d like it…I did in the middle)
¼ Cup Olive oil
¼ Cup Coconut oil (comes in jar at whole foods and traders now sells)
½ Cup Honey
½ Cup Water
1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
½ Cup Coconut flakes, unsweetened
+/- 1 Cup nuts (pecans, walnuts, almond slices, etc)
+/- 1 Cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, apricots, etc.)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Mix the oats through cinnamon in a large bowl. Easiest to mix w/ your hands!
Spread the mixture out on cookie sheets
Bake for 45 mins, stirring once if the edges are looking brown.
Mix the coconut, nuts and fruit. After the oats bake for 45 mins add the nut/fruit mixture on top and continue to bake for another 15-20 mins.
Let the granola cool on the pan before scraping off and putting into container.
