    This interview of Anders Varner and Theresa Larson aligns with the core concepts of MP FPT. Majority of the interview speaks about holistic training mindset and physical performance in general. There is some focus around knee problems but if you sit through the whole interview, you see that the whole body and your environment interconnect and affect each other directly.

    Among some mind bombs are:
    – Joint by joint model of human mechanics.
    – Location of symptoms are often not the location of problem.
    – Silence and awareness helps you to train effectively.
    – Regressions are GOOD.
    – Rehab = Training = Rehab
    – Your body adapts to your environment, so make your lifestyle promote adaptations you want.
    – There is NO one size fits all answer!

    OMGOSH Yes. This is something I struggle with daily. I find myself needing loads of context and asking a ton of questions before being able to give a solid answer. This is why having a history with the client / athlete and understanding where they have been in their training journey and where they want to go is so critical for being able to give solid direction. Another reason I feel our “system” serves people on a high high level because we can gather so much more context and speak a common language when within the framework on a system of 4 spheres and 4 portals. It guides the conversation and saves everyone time and energy so we can all move forward. Agree?
