Sometimes I find people get so caught up with how their nutrition is going.

I like to keep things simple. Eat simple home cooked food. You can decide what you put into your body. Just get your macros: Carbohydrates, Protein, Fat, Vitamins, Minerals. Just eat lots of vegetables. Vary the condiments in your meals.

Take for example, I mass cooked a week’s worth of lunch to bring to the office. Oven baked chicken, rice, fried vegetables. Maybe you can go with mash potato and salads one other week. AUD$15 for five meals, BARGAIN!

Yeah it might be a little boring, but you do all the work once/twice a week and it’s settled.

Nothing wrong if you eat a little more or a little less. Keep it consistent and vary according to how you feel. Very rarely you’ll be eating enough (unless you’re like me, as a kid I kept pigging out so it took some getting used to).

In the words of chef Marco Pierre White:

    Keep it simple!

I love it, great advice for general nutrition. It is all so dependent on our environment and our unique physiology and how our body responds. Any experience with Ketogenic diets?
