Any tips for turning off the hamstring when doing the donkey kicks? I can feel my hamstrings on tension when doing them. Slightly easier to turn them off on the one side.
1. Make sure you are on your elbows
2. Make sure you are in an exhaled state at your core and hold those lower abs on (you can breath but be in an exhaled state of core tension)
3. Slightly internally rotate your hip
4. If you have a super friend have them massage your hamstrings to get them to relax and then hit your glutes to get them to fire
5. consistency and constant awareness 🙂
