I’m a big fan of ice baths for recovery, decreasing inflammation, killing off weak mitochondria (as Dave Asprey explains in Head Strong) and all of the hormonal benefits.
My question is regarding the order of recovery. If I had a big workout or a big game would it make more sense to hit the ice bath first (in order to initiate the recovery process) and then eat. OR should we prioritize food for recovery first then hit the ice bath…
I may be over thinking things a bit but i’m wondering if anyone has any thoughts…
